Renewables and Improvements to Local Schools
Indiana has 247,000 rural students, making it 9th in the nation in rural student population, according to a report by the Rural School and Community Trust.
Local wind and solar projects pay millions of dollars in property tax revenue to the counties where they are located. That's extra revenue that can be used to help fund local schools.
